The Science Learning Center’s Associate Director, Stephanie Walker, has been elected as the National College Learning Center Association’s (NCLCA) Recording Secretary.
In this leadership role, Stephanie will be contribute to the advancement of the national organization by:
- Recording the minutes of all business meetings of the membership and Board of Directors,
- Preparing and submit to the membership any Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws revisions,
- Notifying members of the ratified changes in the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws and maintain the accurate, most current copy of the same,
- Ensuring that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these Bylaws or as required by law,
- Serving as a member of the Nomination Committee,
- Maintaining and updating the archives and records of the corporation, and
- Evaluating and identifying new means of enhancing communications among the Board of Directors, NCLCA membership, and educators working in the field of learning assistance.
Stephanie will officially join the NCLCA Executive Board as Recording Secretary at the 2021 NCLCA Annual Conference. Her position will serve a two-year term, from September 2021 to September 2023.
