Please Note - Absence Policy: Although participation in the SLC Study Group Program is voluntary, students must make a commitment to attend regularly and actively participate in the study group once they have registered. Therefore, study group members who miss four meetings in a term (fall and winter) or two meetings (spring and summer) will be dropped from the study group in order to allow students on the waitlist to join. If you are dropped from a study group for non-attendance, you will not be allowed to rejoin the same study group unless approved through a meeting with the Study Group Program Staff (email slcstudygroups@umich.edu to request an appointment).
Here's What Some of Our Members Have Said...
Geoffrey created the perfect study group environment. All the members work together to solve tough problems, and he only directed questions to others. Every person was able to contribute/ participate/ learn because of the way the discussion was facilitated and not taught.
Tiffany was great! Her worksheets were very helpful, and she made sure she was not just feeding us answers, but instead helping us to think about problems as a group. I would definitely recommend her!
