The Science Learning Center is excited to announce Stephanie Walker as the new Science Learning Center (SLC) Associate Director. In this role, Stephanie will provide leadership over the SLC's academic support programs, including study groups, tutoring, and workshops, and lead the SLC's collaborations for the Science as Art Competition and Exhibition, Tutor Summit, and enhancing support for underrepresented students in the STEM fields.

Prior to joining the SLC, Stephanie served as the Director of the Kent State University Academic Success Center. Under her leadership, the Center received the Frank L. Christ Outstanding Learning Center Award from the National College Learning Center Association (NCLCA). Stephanie is also a founding member and President of the Ohio College Learning Center Association and earned level three NCLCA certification.
