Briana Garcia is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on American politics, with particular interests in psychological, behavioral, and identity politics (i.e., racial, religious, and Latino identities). Before beginning her doctoral studies, she earned an Associate of Arts degree from the College of Southern Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland.
