Edie N. Goldenberg is Professor of Political Science and Public Policy. She is one of the original founders of the Michigan in Washington Program, designed for undergraduates to work at internships in DC, attend classes and produce a research paper while earning a full semester of credits.
Dr. Goldenberg joined the Michigan faculty as Assistant Professor of Political Science in 1974. From 1989-98 Professor Goldenberg served as Dean of the College of Literature, Science and the Arts and from 1987-89 she served as Director of Michigan's Institute of Public Policy Studies (now the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy).
Dr. Goldenberg is an elected member of the National Academy of Public Administration. She serves on the Corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and on the Academic Advisory Committee of Yeshiva University.
