About
Tim Faber is the Senior Vice President for Treasury / Mergers and Acquisitions for L Brands, Inc. He has responsibility for Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Cash Operations, Insurance and Risk Management as well as Enterprise Risk Management. Tim has led multifunctional teams in divestitures of four major divisions, as well as divestitures of smaller units and investments. He has also arranged debt and capital markets transactions in support of large share repurchase transactions and special dividends. Tim has represented L Brands on the public Boards of Galyan’s Trading Company and Express, Inc., as well as on the boards of a number of private joint venture investments.
Before joining L Brands, Inc., Tim spent 10 years at General Electric and GE Capital. His last role was as Managing Director responsible for GE Capital’s advisory and structuring support for GE’s industrial businesses. Tim also lived in Hong Kong for four years overseeing GE’s Treasury operations in Asia.
Tim earned an AB Honors in Political Science from LS&A at the University of Michigan in 1984. He also earned his MBA from New York University. While there, he attended one semester at the Australian Graduate School of Management – University of South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
He currently serves on the boards of The L Brands Foundation and The Columbus Jazz Arts Group (JAG), and previously on the board of The Columbus School for Girls.
