Bethany Christoff, executive assistant to the Chair, has received the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts Outstanding Individual Employee Award for the Social Sciences.

Bethany pushes us to think in the details about ways to make all of our processes better, about ways to understand the individual and organizational impact of her work. She never merely does her job. She always looks for ways to make things better. She does that with energy and joy. There's nothing, from her perspective, that just "is." We feel very fortunate to be working with Bethany. The department has huge capacity with all that she builds and improves.
