Srinivas Parinandi (Chinnu) received the Christopher Mooney Dissertation Award from the American Political Science Association (APSA) Section on State Politics and Policy.

Chinnu's dissertation was titled, “Solving Brandeis’s Mystery: The Link between Electoral Vulnerability, Resource Capacity, and Policy Innovation in the American States”.

Chinnu's committee included Jenna Bednar (Co-Chair), Chuck Shipan (Co-Chair), Robert Franzese, and Elisabeth Gerber.
