About
Phil D'Anieri teaches upper-level undergraduate courses for the Program in the Environment and the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning (TCAUP). A former journalist, legislative policy analyst, and grantmaker, he received his Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan in 2007. His research has focused on the politics of planning at the metropolitan scale, including a historical case study of Detroit. He is currently researching the history of the Appalachian Trail.
