Intermittent Lecturer
About
Lauren is an Intermittent Lecturer, teaching math in the Summer Bridge Scholars Program. She received a BS and an MA in Mathematics (from Michigan State and Eastern Michigan, respectively), and has been working as a math teacher since 2013. During the regular school year, Lauren teaches at Huron High here in Ann Arbor. She is originally from southeast Michigan and currently lives in Ypsilanti.
In her free time, Lauren loves spending time with her wife and their two cats. She also enjoys cycling, solving crossword puzzles, and playing video games. Her favorite part of teaching in the SBSP is how the small class sizes foster a tight-knit community.
