Summer 2025 Workshop

(June 2025 - Bratislava, Slovakia) As civil society across Central and Eastern Europe is increasingly targeted, we offered the week-long management training to 25 NGO leaders from 11 countries — Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. It was the 14th NGO Leadership Workshop since 2015 and the 7th held in Slovakia.

Their organizations provide support in critical areas, including government transparency, human rights advocacy, rule of law, policy reform, citizen engagement, and freedom of information. Participants learned best practices from local and U.S.-based experts on topics including performance management, resilience, change management, executive decision making, and fundraising.
