The Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia is proud to partner with the University of Regensburg and the Leibniz ScienceCampus Europe and America in the Modern World - Regensburg in the form of a fellowship exchange program for faculty.
First launched in 2019, the program has been renewed through 2028. Outgoing U-M scholars will receive up to 4,500 EUR/month for a two to four-week research stay in Regensburg, as well as working space, access to the university’s research resources, support finding accommodation, and further collaboration opportunities.
The program focuses on area studies-related research on diverse European regions, the Americas, and the global world and on multidisciplinary approaches across history, literary and cultural studies, digital humanities, business and economics, law, political science, sociology, and anthropology.
Fellows will be expected to network with Regensburg-based researchers, give a talk or workshop, contribute to the program’s digital research outputs, and develop their own research.
WCEE-affiliated faculty and postdoctoral scholars at U-M are encouraged to apply.
To apply, submit your CV, statement of current research (1-2pp), and a brief description of how you would contribute to one or more of the program’s five Interdisciplinary Research Modules.
Application Deadline: February 15.
