Stefan Augustyniak Fellowship in Polish Studies

The Copernicus Center for Polish Studies (CCPS) is pleased to offer a competitive fellowship for U-M graduate students, made possible by a generous gift from sisters Stephanie and Sue Augustyniak in honor of their father.

The award will provide support for tuition and fees of up to $20,000 to outstanding students who conduct research related to Poland in the Master’s in International and Regional Studies (MIRS) Program or any doctoral program at U-M.

Current students should apply through the form below. Incoming MIRS students in the Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (REEES) specialization who plan to focus their graduate work on Poland will be nominated for the fellowship by the CREES Admissions Committee. No separate application is necessary.

Deadline: March 1

Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time PhD or Masters in International and Regional Studies (MIRS) program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
