Meredith Woo is a political scientist who teaches at Arizona State University. She served as President of Sweet Briar College, and directed Global Higher Education for Open Society Foundations. She was the Dean of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia, and before that, Associate Dean for Social Sciences at LSA and the Director of the Nam Center for Korean Studies. Her teaching and research interests span international political economy, economic development, East Asian politics, and U.S.-East Asian relations.
