On December 12, 1979, a military coup shook the capital city of Seoul, forever altering the fate of South Korea. On that fateful day in December, the power-hungry Security Commander Security Commander Jeon Du-gwang instigated a rebellion, mobilizing covert military organizations within the army and summoning front-line units to the capital. The insurrection, led by Jeon Du-gwang, faced off against the government forces under the command of Capital Defense Commander Lee Tae-shin. Over a tense and pivotal nine-hour period, a life-or-death standoff ensued between the two factions.
