Cultural Performance – MI Lion Dance and University of Michigan "Dancing with the Dragon"

This special cultural performance by MI Lion Dance and the U-M Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies "Dancing with the Dragon" team brings the excitement and beauty of Asian culture to baseball fans through an energetic dragon and lion dance performed at the Detroit Tigers vs Cleveland Guardian Game.

Accompanied by the powerful rhythm of traditional drums, the vibrant dragon and lion dances symbolize good fortune, peace, prosperity, and luck while embodying the values of teamwork, courage, and strength. Through this unique celebration of culture and baseball, best wishes are extended to the Detroit Tigers, the Cleveland Guardians, and fans from all backgrounds.
