The Center for European Studies is the hub of activity for University of Michigan faculty and students whose teaching and research focus on Europe. Over the years, CES has partnered with institutions in Europe to organize projects that impact the U-M community. Most significant among these was the European Commission grant that designated CES as a European Union Center of Excellence from 2005-11.
