The Center for European Studies encourages U-M students to spend time during their studies in Europe, either as part of a formal study abroad program, conducting independent research, or participating in an internship. As part of the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia (WCEE), CES helps coordinate summer interships in Europe. In the past and currently these opportunities have taken students to Albania, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
The Center for Global & Intercultural Study (CGIS) at U-M offers 120+ programs in over 45 countries. With programs scattered across 4 different regions, CGIS can help you fulfill your major/minor & language requirements abroad in programs ranging in length from 4 weeks to a full academic year.
