Chuning Xie is a scholar of history and technology, specializing in gender, legal history, and digital humanities. Her research and teaching explore the intersections of computing and the humanities, with a particular focus on how digital tools can contribute to historical scholarship and how humanistic enquiries reshape our understanding of computing.
As a lecturer in the Program in Computing for the Arts and Sciences, she teaches courses on Teaspoon languages, Python programming, and computing in the humanities.
