There is no single way to engage with computing. You might build software, develop a research project, help shape a product, write informed policy, make art, or explore questions in your field. Understanding how computing works gives you a voice in what we build and how we use it..
Computing also gives you room to imagine something different. You can explore how it works, shape it, and create something of your own as a contributor and not simply a consumer. Artificial intelligence draws on patterns in what already exists. We need people who question its answers, bring their own ideas, and decide what is worth creating.
You don’t need to know where you’re headed before you begin. Your relationship with computing grows as you learn, experiment, and work with others. Our goal is to help you find your direction—and create something we haven’t yet imagined.
Explore our courses through five themes that can help you build that relationship: Understanding, Agency, Judgement, Responsibility, and Imagination.
