About

What is your advising philosophy? My advising philosophy is to help students find success and meaning during their undergraduate studies. I enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals and explore new opportunities. I value building rapport with students and creating a safe space to foster personal growth while in undergrad. Overall, my main goal is to support students' educational goals and help them achieve their dreams!

What was your path to Newnan? After graduating from undergrad, I knew I had a passion for working with people. Post-undergrad, I worked in a number of marketing roles but missed working in academia. This led me to pursue a master's in Higher Education, where I found my passion for advising. I previously interned at Newnan while in grad school and fell in love with the office. I'm honored to be a part of such an inspiring and supportive team!

What do you enjoy about working in Newnan? I previously interned at Newnan and loved the office culture. I enjoy helping others achieve their dreams and value supporting others. Newnan truly values its students’ growth, and I'm excited to work with such an amazing team.

Class you loved and why? EDLD 631 Intro to Human Relationship Skills for Educational Leaders changed my perspective on how to navigate my own emotions regarding leadership.

Interests and hobbies: I enjoy art, working out, traveling, video games, sports, trying new food places, spending time with friends & family, and reading.
