A2 Dhoom is an annual collegiate Bollywood-fusion dance competition, first held at the University of Michigan in 2012 until its last competition in 2019. It is a regional competition affiliated with Desi Dance Network (DDN), a national organization that connects over 80 university teams and hosts the national competition Legends for the top-ranked collegiate Bollywood-fusion teams in the circuit. The competition will involve 8 competing teams as well as 2 additional exhibition performances by student organizations at Michigan. This competition provides student dancers and teams a platform to showcase their creativity, artistic expression, and technical skill while celebrating the rich and diverse cultural heritage of South Asia through dance.
