WISE RP, in conjunction with the University of Michigan Women in Science and Engineering Program and the College of Engineering Center for Engineering Diversity & Outreach, celebrated WISE Night with Dr. Paulette Vincent-Ruz on Tuesday January 25th, 2022.
Dr. Paulette Vincent-Ruz is a Postdoctoral Associate in Chemistry Education at the University of Michigan (Potowatomi Land). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Mexica Land) and obtained a Ph.D. in Learning Sciences and Policy from the University of Pittsburgh (Monongahela Land). Thanks to her unique combination of Chemistry and Education disciplinary knowledge, Dr. Vincent-Ruz became the first chemistry education researcher named a Future Leader in Chemistry in the year 2019 by CAS.
