This WISE event will combine work on summer plans with Valentine card making and treats! Aimed at science, math and engineering students who could use some peer advice and support on making their summer plans and writing cover letters and resumes, this informal event is designed to combine work with play.
Peer advisors will be on hand to help you with ideas for the summer, including volunteer opportunities, fellowships and applying to lab positions, and applying to internships. They can also help with developing and editing your resume and cover letter.
Information on where to find additional resources on campus will be provided.
Those who already have experience in these areas and would like to help peer mentor during this event are welcome and should email jsaville@umich.edu.
