Easton joins the UMich stats department after working for several years as a data scientist in the tech industry. His advisors are Professors Fred Feinberg (marketing/stats) and Walter Dempsey (biostats). His research interests include

- Statistical methods for marketing & mobile health data
- Machine learning & AI
