About
Vijay Nair retired from UM in 2017 and worked at Wells Fargo until 2025, where he was Managing Director and Head of an R&D group. The responsibilities included quantiative modeling in finance, machine learning, NLP, and GenAI. Over the years, he has contributed to research in risk analysis and machine learning, AI, engineering statistics, design and analysis of industrial experiments, reliability analysis, network tomography, and behavioral intervention research.
