What is Giving Blueday?
Giving Blueday is the University of Michigan’s annual day of giving and the day on which your support of your favorite U-M departments and programs will make the greatest impact. On Giving Blueday (Wednesday, March 10th), the University of Michigan invites everyone who is passionate about Michigan to support what they love about the University by making a donation between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.
Why the Department of Statistics?
This year, the Department of Statistics is asking you to help us to provide our students with the best resources possible. Donations to the Department of Statistics on Giving Blueday will help the department to sponsor visiting professorships which allow students and faculty alike to expand their collaborative network of contacts and benefit from the intellectual wealth of other institutions. Giving Blueday donations will also allow the department to fund student awards and give better recognition to students for their hard work and excellence in academia.
For more information on how donations will help the Department of Statistics, visit our campaign page.
