Assistant Professor Jeff Regier is the recipient of the inaugural Nair Innovation in Statistical Education award. The submissions were dominated by novel approaches to pedagogy to take proper advantage of the current technological environment, including making appropriate use of lab time in a world where students have fairly competent computing assistance available at all times from GenAI.
