The U-M Department of Statistics is excited to congratulate Jinming Li and Simon Fontaine for being recipients of the Rackham International Student Fellowship and Chia-Lun Lo Fellowship for 2020-2021.

The Rackham International Student Fellowship is designed to assist outstanding international students who may be ineligible for other kinds of support because of citizenship. Additionally, the Chia-Lun Lo Fellowship supports outstanding Rackham students who have previously earned a degree from a university in Taiwan.

Jinming and Simon, both second-year students in the Statistics PhD program, were nominated and selected for these distinguished awards as a result of their strong academic records and progress towards their degrees.
