The Department of Statistics is happy to congratulate 4th year Ph.D. student Weijing Tang for winning the ASA Nonparametric Statistics 2020 Student Paper Award with her paper titled “Survival Analysis via Ordinary Differential Equations.” This paper was co-authored with Kevin He, Gongjun Xu, and Ji Zhu.

Weijing will present her work this year at JSM 2020 with the possibility of further winning a Best Presentation Award.
