Yang Chen has been awarded the very first Michael Woodroofe award from the Caucus for Women in Statistics and Data Science (CWS). Dr. Dong-Yun Kim announced this award in 2023 at the Michael Woodroofe Memorial Conference here at the University of Michigan. This award showcases a member of the CWS for making significant contributions to solving real-world problems by applying novel or existing theories. This is a great honor, congrats Yang!
