Applicants interested in attending law school will likely need to complete a standardized admission test. The two most commonly accepted tests by American Bar Association accredited law schools are: the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). The LSAT is the only test accepted by all ABA accredited law schools; however, a growing number of law schools are accepting the GRE.

Students should explore both testing options and determine which best works for their educational plans. If a student is interested in possible accommodations on either admission test, they should explore the accommodation request process for the respective test.

It is important for students to understand the LSAT’s content, scoring, as well as how to prepare for the LSAT.
