These programs are available to current undergraduate students at the University of Michigan. They offer support for undergraduate tuition costs, research expenses, and/or experiential opportunities that are conducted primarily before graduation.

Leadership and Experiential Learning

Voyager Scholarship

Up to $50,000 in financial aid for junior and senior years of college.

Udall Scholarship

Provides $7,000 for sophomores and juniors planning careers related to the environment or Native American tribal policy and healthcare.

U-M International Institute opportunities.

Undergraduate STEM Research

STEM Research Career Award

Award for highly qualified sophomores and juniors who plan to pursue a PhD or MD/PhD and research career in STEM.

Beckman Scholars Program

Program for exceptional transfer students who intend to graduate with honors in Chemistry or Biology. 

Goldwater Scholarship

$7,500 for highly-qualified sophomores and juniors who plan to pursue a research career in STEM.

FAIT Fellowship

Funds an IT-related degree and professional development, culminating in appointment as a Diplomatic Technology Officer in the Foreign Service.

Astronaut Scholarship

Up to $15,000 for sophomores and juniors in any STEM field planning research careers.
