Duration: Internship Duration is 8 weeks. If offered the position, interns and their supervisor will decide on specific dates of the internship between May and August.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough review of the materials both in print and in digital form through which the hotel communicates with guests, clients and suppliers.
• Improve the standard English correspondence, signage, and communication used by the various divisions at Estrel from event management, accounting, front desk, purchasing, etc.
  
• Contribute to the Estrel’s social media platform, creating weekly updates in English for the LinkedIn site, as well as identifying & creating content for other online platforms that allow online promotions free of charge.

Compensation:

• Salary of approximately 700 Euros/month.
• Interns will have access to the Estrel employee cafeteria at employee cafeteria prices.

Language Requirements:

• German is highly preferred at level 3 proficiency.
  
• Candidates with a lower level may still be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Desired Professional Skills/Specialties:

• Fluent in English, with strong written English in particular.
• A candidate possessing a good grasp of German (State Department level 3 proficiency) will be best equipped for this internship. Candidates with a lower level may still be considered.

• Support the co-working area and startup lab, including planning, organization, and management
• Work directly with the startups
• Organize events in the lab with the startups

Responsibilities:

• Literature searches
  
• Assistance with tasks related to conducting systematic reviews of the literature, data management (e.g. managing and preparing large national panel datasets for analysis, entering and checking data, coding),
• Preparing materials for research studies

Compensation:

• Unpaid
• Employer can refer interns to local Student Services to find housing, if desired.

Language Requirements:

• Most tasks can be carried out in English.
  
• Basic German may be advantageous for getting around Berlin, but most people understand and speak English.

• Background in social science (preferred: Psychology; possible: Anthropology, Sociology, Economics/Business), Sports science/Kinesiology, or Public Health
