“Throughout my time at the University of Michigan, I've continuously changed what I want to do and where I want to end up. The combination of my International Studies and Business coursework has helped me navigate different opportunities and find which industries I am most interested in. Recently, I joined the Ann Arbor Entrepreneurship Fund's (A2EF) first DEI Intern Program cohort working as a Marketing Intern for Strata Oncology, a biotech startup. In this role, I am helping the company in developing their social media presence and am continuously learning within the culture of a startup. This experience through A2EF has already allowed me to create connections with other interns within the cohort while also learning skills such as combatting imposter syndrome and honing communication skills. I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my internship learning from my team and gaining new skills that I can transfer to new experiences!”
Future plans: “I've never been completely sure about what I want to do in the future, but I know I'm very passionate about marketing and healthcare so that intersection would be ideal for the future! I specifically want to work on the analytics side of marketing and focus on how to use data to further the goals of a company.”
