Inuit Circumpolar Council-Alaska (ICC-AK) exists to be the unified voice and collective spirit of Alaskan Inuit, to promote, protect and advance Inuit culture and society.
The $2,000 Arctic Internship Fellowship can be used for: travel, ground transportation, and living expenses. The Inuit Circumpolar Council-Alaska (ICC-AK) can suggest housing in the area and fellows should secure housing before they arrive. Applicants should specifically indicate their intention to pursue this internship with ICC-AK in their MCompass application and their statement of purpose should align with the potential internship projects listed.
Potential internship projects include:
- Communications Support: assist with updating communications plan and implementing communications and outreach projects, knowledge of ICC-AK
- Research: general research and compilation
- Implementation of the 2022 ICC Declaration: Specific tasks are yet to be determined
