Leadership Teaching Fellow
About
Christine Dutt is a senior at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, where she is a member of the LSA Honors Program and majors in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience on the pre-health track.
Her campus involvement includes serving as a chemistry tutor with the Science Learning Center, a tutor with End the Cycle, and an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology.
As a previous Barger Leadership Institute Social Transformation Fellow, Christine developed an online educational platform to raise awareness of rare gastrointestinal diseases, which has received over 800 views, and distributed more than 1,000 project-affiliated brochures across 15 U-M schools and programs.
The BLI provided Christine with the mentorship and grant funding she needed to bring her passion for rare disease advocacy to life on campus, and she is excited to support the leadership development of other students. In her free time, Christine enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
