About
Originally from Miami, Florida, Sylvia is deeply interested in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), leadership, and organizational dynamics across non-profits, government agencies, and educational institutions.
She is a Fourth Year majoring in Latino/a Studies, Spanish, and Organizational Studies with a minor in Urban Studies, on the Pre-Law Track! Building on a background in leadership development, she is excited to dive into the BLI's inner workings. A passionate traveler and public transit enthusiast, she , speaks English, Spanish, and a little Portuguese.
Outside of academics, Sylvia serves as President of the Multicultural Greek Council, Treasurer for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and an M-Bassador for the Alumni Association.
