About
Brittany Joyce received her B.A. in Classical Studies and Italian Studies from Brandeis University in 2015, where she wrote her senior honors thesis, “Trinacria Trilingua: Language and Culture in Roman Sicily." Brittany also received her M.A. in Ancient Greek and Roman Studies from Brandeis in 2019, where she completed her master's thesis, “The Martyrdom of St. Agatha from Local Legend to Later Reception.” Brittany's research interests include Late Antiquity, religion, and Sicilian and Italian history.
