Before submitting an application, students should discuss their plans with the graduate advisor of the Program, Ellen Muehlberger.
The appropriate application form for a Dual Degree may be downloaded from the website of the Rackham School of Graduate Studies. Students may submit their applications at any time in their graduate careers, and should also inform the Graduate Coordinator of their plans.
Courses that students have already taken may be counted toward the requirements of the Certificate, and the same courses may be used to satisfy the requirements for both the Doctoral Program and the Certificate in accordance with Rackham's policies.
