Infrastructure Spring 2026 Maintenance

by Joshua Simon, LSA Technology Services

What are we doing?

LSA TS Infrastructure will be performing standard IT maintenance on the storage appliance for our virtualization environment the weekend before Spring Break. While we anticipate no service disruptions, and did not experience any in our testing, one may nevertheless occur.

Unlike past maintenance weekends, this one looks to be shorter.

What services will be impacted?

If the upgrade goes poorly, the following services may experience an outage:

  • Ansible
  • ArcGIS service
  • Crestron Fusion
  • Distributed File System (DFS)
  • FileMaker
  • Linux Build Services (Orcharhino, Satellite, and Satellite Capsule)
  • Locknetics service
  • Math Gateway Testing (WebWorks)
  • Museum services (Integrated Publishing Tool (IPT) and Michigan Flora)
  • Passwordstate
  • Production SQL and Reporting
  • Server Logging
  • Web Proxy Services
  • Web applications (Mi-Portfolio, OPS, Procurement, and Visiting-Scholars)
  • Windows Build Services (SCCM/WLMS)
  • Windows Terminal Services
  • Windows Web Application Hosting (WWAH AKA webapps)
  • Zabbix Monitoring and Alerting

If you have any questions about this maintenance activity, please contact the LSA Technology Services Service Desk (734.615.0100 x2) for assistance.
