Joshua Thorp is an Assistant Professor of Political Science (Public Opinion) at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. His research focuses on public opinion and political psychology in the United States and other advanced democracies. Thorp studies the social and political processes that shape political cohesion and collective action within social groups, with a particular focus on the politics of disability. He received my Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2025.
