Professor Emeritus Kent Jennings just received the Frank J. Goodnow Award from the American Political Science Association. This award honors service to the community of teachers, researchers, and public servants who work in the many fields of politics.
Fittingly, Kent joins John Jackson, the M. Kent Jennings Collegiate Professor of Political Science, who received the award in 2014.
U-M Professor Emeritus of Political Science Kent Jennings' research interests focus on political socialization, political elites, and gender and politics. At Michigan, he taught courses in public opinion and participation, political socialization, community political behavior, research design and data collection.
