Goldstein Wins Upper-Level Writing Prize
Political Science undergraduate student Samantha Goldstein's paper, "Best Strategies to Increase Public Support for a Tax on Sugar-Sweetened Beverages," written for PS381 and nominated by her instructor, Aloka Narayanan, has been selected as one of two winners of the Excellence in Upper-Level Writing Prize in Natural Science. Goldstein's paper was chosen by a panel of judges who considered it among a number of other nominated papers and recognized hers as exceptional. The paper will be published in a volume of excellent upper-level student writing.
An awards ceremony to honor Samantha and other writing prize winners is being planned for Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 10:00 am in room 2435 North Quad.
