Markovits Addresses Los Angeles Olympic Bid and its Relation to Trump's Policies
Andrei Markovits was recently cited in a recent Forbes article titled, "Trump's Policies Could Derail Los Angeles' Olympic Bid."
Markovits explains how President Trump's rhetoric, policies and excutive orders have endangered Los Angeles' bid to host the 2024 Olympic Games. He states, "There is absoletely no question that Presdient Trump is a huge liability for L.A., big time. I mean big time."
On contrast to this, he calls "L.A.'s bid "cost-effective" largely becuase most of the facilities needed already exist and are well used outside of the Olympics."
