Lecturer in Organizational Studies
About
David S. Sweetman is adjunct lecturer for Organizational Studies. He has a passion for helping students reach their fullest potential. As a consistently top-ranked instructor, he has taught organizational behavior, leadership, strategy, human resources, and more at the collegiate undergraduate and graduate levels. He is also the Senior Director of Education and Training for Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan, where he oversees educational system design and delivery and institutional learning management. He was a founder of Michigan Youth Leadership (MYLead), a non-profit organization dedicated to developing the leadership potential of high school students. He has also worked in information technology systems administration and leadership. He has authored or co-authored more than three dozen academic articles and presentations on leadership and enabling people to reach their individual potential.
David completed his Ph.D. at the Gallup Leadership Institute, University of Nebraska. He earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
