Positive Organizational Scholarship Through Leadership, Human Capital, and Accounting
In my Organizational Studies Pathway, I hope to develop a deeper understanding of how organizations can succeed by effectively managing and developing their people. I am particularly interested in how leadership, organizational culture, and human capital influence employee performance, decision-making, and long-term organizational success. At the same time, I am pursuing a Business minor and plan to continue my education in accounting, allowing me to complement the human-centered perspective of Organizational Studies with technical business and financial expertise.
I believe that successful organizations require both strong people practices and sound financial decision-making. Through this pathway, I want to explore how leaders can create environments that support employee growth, engagement, and well-being while also helping organizations achieve their strategic and financial objectives. My goal is to combine insights from Organizational Studies with accounting and business knowledge to better understand how organizational decisions affect both people and performance.
