Private and Public Sector Interactions
My pathway in Organizational Studies focuses on the interactions between the public and private sectors, examining how government regulation, tax policy, government contracts, and public-private partnerships shape economic and social outcomes. In what ways do government subsidies or tax incentives influence business decisions? What role do lobbyists play in influencing government policies that affect private sector industries? How do changes in tax policy affect private investment opportunities?
By analyzing the ways in which businesses and government entities collaborate and negotiate, I hope to gain insights into the regulatory frameworks that guide industries and the fiscal policies that incentivize or constrain corporate behavior. With my ultimate goal of pursuing a career in corporate law, my pathway will equip me to analyze corporate behavior and its legal implications through a multifaceted approach.
