Examining the Intersection Between Economic Inequalities and Organizational Management
I am interested in examining the economy as a social institution and how the economy reproduces existing inequalities in the workforce, housing, and education. Building off of this foundation, I want to look forward and use creative strategy development within organizations to mediate these inequalities. How can organizational be inequality reinforcers and how could organizations be problem solvers? This pathway will help answer these questions as I take a deeper dive into topics such as Economic Strategy, Social Change, Negotiations, Entrepreneurial Management, and the Sociology of Education. Ultimately, this pathway will combine my passion for problem solving, with an emphasis on distributing burdens of organizational decisions equitably. Upon completion of this pathway, I will gain the knowledge and skills needed to actively pursue work in equitable creative strategy within economic and educational organizations.
