Inclusive Business Leadership: Understanding the Intersection of Business Functionality and Community Impact to Develop Positive Organizational and Societal Change
During my time in OS, I hope to explore how organizations function within the business sector, and the resulting community impacts. I am interested in learning how to leverage the skills of leadership and management from a position of supervision within an organization to increase productivity and positive impacts both internally and externally. The decision making processes and strategies necessary for this are also of great interest to me, and I plan to focus on supplementing my business knowledge by applying the creative and multidisciplinary perspectives OS offers, especially in connection to historically underserved and underrepresented communities. Combined with my Entrepreneurship minor, I believe this will equip me to hone my leadership, management skills, and business fundamentals, so I can make a tangible impact on my community through business.
